Contact Lens

For active and busy lifestyles, ask us about your suitability to become one of many who enjoy comfort and freedom in today’s newest materials Contact lenses enhances the vision of the wearer by reducing spectacle aberrations and increasing the visual field, thus giving a natural vision

Soft contact lenses
  1. Standard Contact lenses : These lenses are available as spherical lenses and toric lenses which can be used everyday for about 8 hours and should be replaced every year.
  2. Disposable contact lenses : These latest generation lenses are available as spherical and toric contact lenses which can be disposed as either quarterly, monthly, fortnightly, weekly or on a daily basis.
  3. Cosmetic contact lenses : As the name suggests, these lenses are worn to enhance cosmetic appearance by changing the eye color
  4. Bifocal contact lenses : These lenses correct presbyopia by correcting both distance vision and near vision by a single pair of contact lenses.
Semi soft contact lenses

Soft contact lenses are most common, but there is another lesser-known category of contact lens materials: gas permeable (GP) contact lenses, also known as RGPs, rigid gas permeable, or oxygen permeable lenses. GPs transmit more oxygen to the eye than do traditional soft contact lenses (although some silicone hydrogel soft lenses are comparable to GPs in oxygen transmission).

These lenses are specially designed to match the patient's corneal contour thereby resulting in a shaper and clearer vision.

Speciality lenses / Keratoconus:

Rose K lenses: Heralded as "a quantum leap forward in the evolution of lens design for the condition" of keratoconus the Rose K lens has become the world's most frequently prescribed gas permeable contact lens for keratoconus.

Unlike traditional contact lenses, the complex geometry built into every Rose K contact lens closely mimics the cone-like shape of the cornea for every stage of the condition.

The result is a more comfortable fitting lens for patients and better sight (visual acuity).
